May Purchases in Review

Lots of Summer staples with a high success rate!!

As many of you may know, we went a little crazy in April. In May, we went for practical, easy, Summer basics!! We’ve got 10 purchases to share with the group. Let’s get into it!!!

1. After months of reading about them, one of us finally got the Rothys Clogs (Hemp material in Dune). They arrived last night. They’re ugly chic? Or maybe just chic chic? We DK but they are the most comfortable shoes on planet earth. We’re now looking at Tevas…is this what happens after 30?

2. The Citizens of Humanity jeans that we’ve included in several edits before and have finally pulled the trigger on. They’re en route. Will report back on fit and color. So excited to have these as a casual summer jean.

3. This COS dress is amazing. Lightweight and comfortable for daytime and the sheen of the fabric elevates it for a nice dinner out. This wasn’t included in the MDW sale so if you think you missed out, no you didn’t!

4. Another COS score with these white poplin pants. Went up one size on these. Same here re: sale - these weren’t included! They go well with these Hanes tanks that live up to the hype. Buy them!!!

5. We originally found these Elisa Johnson sunglasses at Kith and were obsessed. They come in fun shades and are a chic update to a traditional aviator.

6. Uniqlo Wide Brim Hat ($39). We have finally come around on hats like these. This is seriously perfect for morning walks or a casual sit outside. The size is adjustable. We got the white! Also intrigued by this bandana hat…

7. These Vuori shorts are really comfortable, really cute, TTS and not see through. We bought two.

8. We LOVE this Rose Inc. tinted serum they’re no longer selling at Sephora. Ordered 3 to stockpile. It’s a lightweight tinted serum perfect for Summer.

9. We tracked down this Proenza Schouler top after the Wantd List inclusion on TRR for $132 (retails for $990)…brand new. The thing about TRR is when you get a tags-on, still in store item for $132 that retails for $990, you’re obviously over the moon. But at the same time, you remember all the times that you’ve been on the other side of that sale, getting a $30 payout for your nearly $1k top. Selling to TRR is almost like you’re trading - you’re selling items you’ll get next to nothing for, but you’re contributing to the greatness of TRR.

10. We both bought the Zara Balloon Dress and we BOTH returned it. Considering we have pretty different body types, this dress may just be a bust…
