Daphine gold earrings. The Wardrobe Edit posted these and we haven’t stopped thinking about them. $180 for earrings seems like a lot, but do we pull the trigger?
Ayede patent ballet flats. Now, you know our thoughts on shoes in NYC. But since Zara’s prices have increased 50% (hyperbole, but this may be correct), these seem like a fantastic option.
Satin pants. The hunt continues. We have bought and returned several. We are stalking TRR daily for a St. John pair (pictured below) in our size. Any recos, please send our way!!
Any Bernadette gingham on sale. There is a lot of it. We’ve tried to resist. Maybe it will look bad on us and we should just try it…. Thought our favorite was the red mini and the more we look the more we want the maxi skirt….(strapless dress, maxi skirt, halter dress, red mini).
Norma Kamali jersey pants. These are the best elevated, comfortable basic pants, but is MyTheresa malfunctioning for anyone else??? We tried to buy these 3 times with 3 different CCs and MyTheresa is requesting we WIRE them money. No can do, MyTheresa. Le Set makes a similar, more casual version.
Frankie Shop white tie back poplin shirt. We saw our friend wearing this and loved it. It’s another perfect, elevated, basic. The shoulder pads and tie back waist make it. We struggle with the price for this top ($179), but would definitely wear a lot…thinking…
We love loafers. We love Le Loafer. But is this one of those items that is getting overdone?? Net-A-Porter has SO many TODs on sale. Our favorites are the brown croc, brown, white, black patent and calf hair. And dare we say they’re a good transition into Spring. Since these loafers break our fancy shoe rule, we’re going to wait for further discounts…
THE Toteme boots. These boots have us in a tizzy. Talk about decision paralysis. They are still expensive but rapidly selling out. Originally we wanted the Black Wedge Heel and now we also want the The Slim Brown Croc?? But also the Brown Wedge Heel and The Slim Black? What is one to do? They’re a classic we would have forever???
Shearling or thin mink long fur coat. The vision is Nour Hammour but vintage. We are incessantly checking TRR. We want this to be < $500. Bold, but great shoppers never give up. If you want actual NH, this a very good price and reversible….
Pantent slingbacks. We know January is just beginning, but this feels a bit late in the game to be buying these? Fancy shoes are actually preferable here (on sale of course). Less wear, less risk to the shoes, and these are an absolute classic. The Saint Laurent are the obvious choice, though very pricey. We almost bought The Attico version from Saks, but the fit wasn’t quite right (no half sizes). We like these Larroude x Altuzarra and these Paris Texas (sale) (precarious with that thin heel though).
At friendlier prices, we found these Schutz and a few Amazon dupes that we will leave here and here…
This Moncler Puffer ($1,520) is truly the chicest puffer to exist. We can’t stop thinking about it.
Skims sweatpants. One of us has these and the other half needs for sanity purposes. The one that has these, lives in them. Skims does no wrong.
J Crew lace skirt ($118). We keep coming back to this but is it an awkward length?? Admittedly, we have yet to try.
Larroude red satin mule. We realize something similar was on December Purchase History, but we never claimed to be perfect.
These Manolo’s are at the bottom of the list because we *have* to stop buying random fancy things that we wear once per year. In our defense Laura Reilly posted and there is only one left??? And it is our size??? And they are extra 25% off?? Sigh.
